Help with potty training!!!

Okay,
I need some advice from all you wonderful Mother's out there. I apologize in advance for anything gross that I may write :-) I am trying to decide how and what to do about potty training Jacey. I feel like she has been ready for a while now. It's me that is the problem :-(
Last week Jacey started saying "poopy" before taking her diaper off and sitting on the toilet. Forget about the mini toilet or the Elmo seat I bought her. She just wanted to sit on Mommy's toilet and go all by herself. She has done this before and has never actually done anything so you can imagine my astonishment when she actually went "poopy". She did this about 3 times last week. I have read the book "Potty training in one day" and love the concepts but have never tried it because I seriously just don't have the energy right now (the baby has taken all of it) to spend and entire day focusing on potty training. So, when Jacey did go potty I made a big deal and give her a treat. I then tried putting big girl undies on her, training pants, pull ups, nothing at all, you name it, in an attempt to get her to do ALL of her business in the potty. Unfortunately all I've done lately is clean up her messes :-(
So, my question is. How (with out killing myself) do I potty train my dear child without having to sit in the bathroom with her for 24 hours???? Have I missed my opportunities already?
Any suggestions or ideas would be great.

Thanks :-)

Swim Lessons

Jacey had her first swim lesson this past week. She LOVES playing in the water but absolutely hated having to learn anything. I'm not sure who was more traumatized, her or me :-)

Swimming time!!!

Yeah!!!! The pool is finally starting to feel nice enought to go swimming. Jacey and I went swimming for the first time this year on Saturday and it was lot's of fun. It was still a tad bit cold but we toughed it out and had fun anyway. Thad was a big chicken and refused to get in.

Ouch!!!!

Our trip to Pinetop just wouldn't have been the same without some sort of accident :-(

Jacey, of course, on our last day there, was running down the drive way and fell head first into the concrete :-( Not a pretty sight. This picture doesn't even come close to showing the damage that was done to her face. Thank goodness it has seemed to heal quickly :-)

Gone fishin!!!!

I'm not sure who had a better time fishing, the kids or Thad and Jackson :-) Jacey sure loved it, even though her pole didn't have any string or anything on it. She loved sticking her pole in the water and waiting for the fishies to come by :-) The best part was when Thad saw a snake and nearly peed his pants :-)

Rub a dub dub...

A couple of weekends ago we went up to Pinetop with Gina and Jackson and stayed in the Wright's cabin. It was soooo nice to get out of the heat and the kids had a ton of fun. They played so hard during the day that we had to give them all bath's every night. They sure loved taking a bath together in the huge bath tub :-)
