Halloween

Jacey and Keely were so excited for Halloween so they could wear their
costumes. Jacey got to dress up for pre-school and on Halloween.
I think she was a bit tired of the crown, etc.. by the time Halloween came, lol.
Jacey was Cinderella and Keely was Tinkerbell. I didn't really want to buy Camden a costume that would never be worn again so I just borrowed one from my sister. I think he turned out to be quite the cute little skeleton :-)

This year for Halloween we went with my friend Amy to her family's block party.
The kids had a lot of fun doing all of the different activities. Cake walks, cupcake walks, basketball throw, bounce house, go fish, cotton candy machine, snow cones, etc...etc...

I was surprised at how well Jacey actually did at the basketball throw.
She didn't actually make any baskets but came really, really close.
I think I may have a basketball player on my hands :-)

After the block party I took the kids over to their cousins house to go trick or treating
with all the Mason's. We homemade chili and doughnuts and then the kids go around the neighborhood. They LOVED it. Keely was so excited to go up to all the doors and have candy magically dropped into her bucket.

See Big Bird in the background? That's Thad's sister Rachel.
Only Rachel could pull that off, lol.
Uncle David was a HUGE help with the little girls.
Keely just loves him and he would carry her anytime she started lagging
behind the other kids.
P.S-Did I mention that I did all of Halloween BY MY SELF???? After working
all day Thad wasn't feeling good so he stayed home and went to bed.

First hair cuts

All of the kiddos were in need of a haircut so I took them with me when I got my hair done.
This was Keely's first haircut (2.2 years old). She was such a good girl and didn't move
at all while her hair was being trimmed.

Camden was next. His hair grew in so crazy that he literally looked like an old man
with a comb over. He had really long hairs on the top and sides of his head.
She basically just buzzed his head.

Much better!!!!
Camden is four months old here.
He is such a good baby. He loves to talk to himself and babbles all the time.
He finally figured out how to roll over both ways and now rolls all over the place.
At his four month checkup he was 14.5 lbs.
I forgot to write down his height :-(

Schnepf Farms

As per tradition, we took the girls to Schnepf farms for some early Halloween fun.
We meet our friends the Bagley's and my sister Gina and her kids there.
The kids loved it and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing them having so much fun!!!
There was a band playing right in front of where we were eating so Jacey couldn't resist grabbing
Presley and dancing her heart out :-) Cute face painting
One nice thing about Jacey being so tall is she can ride on every ride now.
She LOVED going on the roller coaster with her Daddy.
Jacey and Bentley loving the swing ride.

Keely was so sad she couldn't go on the roller coaster or the swing.
She was very happy to be able to ride the Bumble Bee with Mommy.
If I had let her she would of stayed on this ride the whole night.
Keely also loved the airplane ride and the fact she could ride without Mom.

Right after this picture the ride started and she then unbuckled herself.
I of course freaked out and made them stop the ride.
That was the end of the airplanes for her, lol.

Jacey also loved the airplanes.

Camden loved just kicking back in his seat and watching everyone.

The girls loved feeding the goats.

Second tooth...

Jacey lost her 2nd tooth exactly one month after the first one. One day it was suddenly really, really loose. It actually fell out all on it's own and landed on her lips. Luckily we saw it and grabbed it. She was so excited to have two missing teeth :-)

Camping Trip-October 2010

It had been a very long time since we had been camping so we decided to pack the girls (And Mara & Tilly) up and go. The girls absolutely loved it (so did Camden). It was a very short trip (left Saturday, came back Sunday) but we still had time to take the girls for rides on the Rhino, make smore's, tell ghost stories, shoot the BB gun, and attempt to fall asleep in the pouring rain. It rained sooo hard all night long. Thankfully Camden and the girls slept all night long. Too bad they got up with the sun :-)
It was so nice to leave the 100 degree weather and hang out in 60-70 degree temperatures instead.

Yes, we are old school and actually slept in a tent. All 5 of us. Mara and Tilly slept in the cab of Thad's truck :-)

Thad insisted on bringing his prized possessions: His BBQ grill, potato gun and BB gun.
Keely insisted on wearing her boots everywhere. Who cares that they are snow boots, right???
