Milestone's-Crawling & 100th post

Today Keely officially started crawling. She's been at the "ready" stage (see below) for quite a while now but finally figured out how to move those chunky legs forward :-)
In addition to Keely crawling this is my 100th post. Woo Hoo!!! To celebrate I thought I'd post a few useless bits of trivia about "Mason Madness"

*Thad has almost broken more bones in his body than I can count. He's even broken both arms at the same time before
* Amber used to play the accordion
*Jacey loves to sing & dance. Her favorite song is Popcorn popping and her favorite dance is the booty dance she made up herself
*Keely's favorite snack is her toes
*While we were dating, Thad rode his quad up a dirt wall (I say wall because it was literally almost straight up and down) got stuck and proceeded to fly backwards rolling down the "wall" with the quad. I think he was trying to get out of going on his mission :-)
*The scariest thing that has ever happened to me was when Jacey was 1 and had a febral seizure and I thought she was dying
*Jacey's favorite game is "ducky goose"
*Keely's favorite game is peek-a-boo (through the slats of her crib)
*The only time Thad has been out of the country was when we went on a cruise through the Mexican Caribbean for our 1 year anniversary. He says he won't ever leave the country. So much for that trip to Italy :-(
*I almost died by fire while camping when I was younger
Keely's on the move

The finish line was a glass of water. She LOVES drinking out of Daddy's water glass :-)

Scottsdale Train Park

Last weekend we took the girls to the train park in Scottsdale. This was our first time there. We spent most of the day there and had so much fun having family time. Jacey loved the trains and she of course wanted to ride again and again and again. Too bad Mommy and Daddy have to pay :-)
Waiting patiently in line for her turn
We sat up front by the conductor and had lots of fun steam coming at us :-)

Jacey wanted to "chill" in her own seat

Keely was so good the entire time

Yummy Ice cream

Riding the mini train with dad (Don't move Thad-you might tip the whole thing over)

Having fun on the carousel

Jacey quickly became friends with the girl standing in line behind us.
She was sad when the ride ended and they had to part ways.
Too cute (Not a prop)

Random acts of cuteness

I just love those moments when the kids do something so dang cute that I can't help but smile even when/if they are being naughty. Jacey is Trouble with a capital T but she sure does make me laugh and Keely is little butter ball but is such a sweet little girl who adores her big sister~~~

Jacey loves to climb in the crib and play with Keely. I eventually just gave up trying to stop her and just let them play together. I can't really accuse Jacey of being too big for the crib when Keely is almost as big as she is :-) (They have the same waist size)
When Jacey gets in she pretends to be the Mommy and gathers every pillow and blanket she can find to play hide and seek with Keely

This is how I found Keely one day after a long day of playing hard with her big sister :-)

She loves to peek her little face, hands, feet, etc... through the crib and play peek a boo. She must have finally fallen asleep waiting for someone to come play :-)

My big girl has now officially outgrown her bath seat. Okay, okay so she outgrew it months ago. She LOVES to splash in the water but her favorite thing to do is eat the wash cloths. When I take it away to wash her off she throws a baby tantrum. What is that you ask? Well, her face gets bright red and she starts yelling at me in baby gibberish :-)

Jacey's hair is finally getting long enough to try new things. I couldn't resist taking pictures of her very first set of braids :-)

Okay, so this was one of those moment's I was referring to above. Jacey wet her pants last night. Unfortunately this is a common occurrence and she knows that she's in trouble if that happens so she always tries to hide the evidence. She goes to her room and changes panties and puts on new pants. This is how our conversation usually goes: "Jacey, why are you wearing new shorts and panties?" "Nuffing Mom" aka: I didn't do anything Mom "What do you mean nothing Jacey?" "Mom, I fine, go away...."
Last night it was too hard to get mad at her when she came out wearing a shirt thinking it was a skirt. Hmm, wonder what those things hanging on each side are for?????

Lehi Days

Last weekend Thad and I took the girls to Lehi Days. Thad grew up in Lehi (no, not Lehi, UT) and his parents still live there so it's a tradition for the Mason's to attend. They had several events, yummy BBQ, a petting zoo area and pony rides. Jacey had such a fun time with all her friends and she absolutely loved riding the ponies. Thad was disappointed that they no longer have the steer dressing event (he wanted to enter) but we still had a fun time and the weather was awesome!!! Thanks Grandpa and Grandma Mason for inviting us and buying us some of the yummy BBQ.

More firsts

I thought I'd post a few random pictures of more of Keely's firsts.
She for the most part is bald but has this tiny little patch of hair on the very top of her head. I decided to experiment the other day and found that there was just enough hair to put it in a tiny pony tail. So here she is with her very first pony tail.

Keely is also finally starting to sit up by herself now. I have to put her in the proper position but once there she'll sit until something else grabs her attention and she decides to go dive for it :-)

Peek-a-boo
I came home the other night and went in to check on Keely and this was what I found. She cannot stand to stay in one place and loves to roll around all over her crib. Lately she's been pulling at the ties on her crib bumper until they come undone and she can peek out over the top. She loves to play peek-a-boo with me and just laughs and laughs when we play :-)
(P.S-You can thank Thad for the lovely outfit my daughter is wearing in the photo)
