Schnepf farms and other cute pics :-)

What do two 2 year olds, two 2 month olds & 90+ degree weather=? Lot's of tired, hot & cranky people :-) Despite all of that my sister Gina and I had quite the fun time at Schnepf farms with the kiddos. Thad and I had taken Jacey last week when I went with the YM/YW in the ward. The weather that night was absolutely perfect and Jacey had soooo much fun. She even got to ride the roller coaster (which they wouldn't let her do today). Unfortunately I neglected to bring my camera. So, I got the bright idea to drag my sister and her two little ones back with me today. You can get in for 1/2 price on Thursday's with an online coupon and the kiddos where free so we thought why not??? The heat for one!!!! Holy cow was it ever hot. As you can see from my bright red face in the picture below. It was still fun though and I just loved seeing Jacey so excited about everything :-)

Jacey and Skyler (he's trying to poke his head through)

The kiddos had a blast on the airplane ride

One HOT (literally) Mama and her little bumble bee :-)

Jacey getting a pumpkin painted on her face. Skyler got a spider.

The results :-)

Jacey picked out her very own pumpkin.

Petting the sheep. One of the many friendly animals they petted :-)

Sliding down into the goat's pen. It took her forever to finally decide to go.

Jacey and Skyler, so stinking cute holding hands :-)

Okay, so these are some other random photo's I took.

Sunday after church I got Jacey out of her dress and she insisted on putting on my boots. So, I helped her get them zipped up and she proceeded to strut around the house in them for the next 15 minutes. It was soooo funny :-)

My wonderful friend Mara came over last Saturday. While she was here she was playing with the baby. She did such a good job that Keely literally fell asleep in her arms. It was soooo cute.
She's going to make a wonderful Mother some day :-)

Awesome concert!!!!

My friend Nicolle and I were able to go to the Mindy Gledhill benefit concert Saturday night. Oh my gosh!!! What an awesome concert it was. Mindy has the most beautiful voice. You can't help but feel uplifted after hearing her sing. There were so many wonderful songs and stories shared and dang it if I didn't cry when the Nielson's daughters got up on stage to help Mindy sing. I am so glad that I got to go and be a part of this wonderful event. I even got my picture taken with Mindy. She's the gorgeous one in the picture :-) I forgot my camera yet again so the pictures and video are from my cell phone (not the greatest quality). If you want to read an awesome article about the Nielson's on AZ Central go here.
(P.S-Steph, your friend Kendra was awesome!!!!)

My little pumpkin(s)

Keely had her 2 month checkup yesterday. She's technically 2 1/2 months but that's okay :-)
She has gotten soooo big!!! She weighed 12.5 lbs and is 25in long. She is in the 100th percentile for height (of course). I was looking at Jacey's stat's when she was the same age and she was 13lbs and 24.5 in. So, they are pretty dang close :-)

Jacey when she was two months old. I think they look a lot alike.

Annual Date night

Once upon a time there was a young man named Thaddeus Mason. Thaddeus reeeeally liked a young women named Amber. He did everything within his power to impress her. He had long stem roses sent to her at work, he had a pizza delivered with the peperoni's in the shape of a heart. He even bought her her very first pair of Lucky jeans. Needless to say, Amber was very pleased with the "Wooing" that occurred. Then Mr. Mason decided to go on a mission. His very thoughtful and adoring girlfriend wrote him faithfully every week and sent him tons, and tons and tons, of goodies :-) Most of you now how the story goes......

Needless to say, once this young man caught the women of his dreams and married her, the wooing immediately stopped :-( Don't get me wrong. Thad is a wonderful husband, he just completely lost the ability to be romantic. (I swear this story has a point). If we do go out on "dates" we always take the kiddos with us. Thad hates leaving them home. So, when Thad told me that he was going to take me on a date, in the middle of the week no less, I was excited.
Then he informed me that he was going to take me to an Awesome concert. We were going to go see Metallica!!!!!

Woo Hoo. Our one and only date night for the year (without the kids) and I got to go to Metallica. Okay, Okay, it wasn't as bad as it sounds but you get my point :-) I actually had a lot of fun although I am partially deaf now :-) I've posted some pics and a video from the blessed event. They were taken with my cell phone so the quality is not the greatest. (Don't forget to mute the music at the bottom, if watching the video).

Thanks for a wonderful night Mr. Romantic :-)

Baby Blessing

Thad was able to bless Keely last Sunday. It was such a special day for us and we had so many good friends and family who came to support us. Gina & Jackson (my sis) blessed their baby that morning and we blessed Keely that afternoon so it was quite the day. Gina was gracious enough to host a dinner at her house that night for both sets of families. It was so much fun. The weather was wonderful and we had such a good time visiting with all the family. Thanks Gina :-)

My little monster!!!

We decided to go shopping for Halloween costumes last night. Thad wanted to go back to the Spirit Halloween store. He'd gone by himself and wanted Jacey and I to see everything they had. Now, keep in mind, my husband is a tight wad so we were by no means going to be shopping at this store (per him). We were just going to look and then be on our way to Wal-Mart where he insisted they had the same costumes for cheaper. So, we perused the store and Jacey LOVED it. We couldn't get her to leave the room with the "scary monsters". She also insisted on trying on every mask she saw. I thought this one was hilarious because the mask almost covers her entire body :-)

P.S-We went to Wal-Mart and they sucked (pardon my language). Thad's going to just have to leave the Halloween costume shopping up to me and not ask about the price :-)

My smiley girl !!!!

Wow, time sure does fly by. Keely is 7 weeks old today. She started smiling at me a little over a week ago and it is the cutest thing ever. I absolutely love this beautiful little girl.
